Photos of the Turkish military facilitating immigrants to cross illegally into Greece have come to light.

The photos were published by OPEN TV at a time when when the Turks were shooting on the border of Evros.

The specific photos show the military of the neighbouring country guiding immigrants to accessible passages so that they can enter Greece illegally.

This comes as the weather begins improving and the river level begins to recede.

Organised smuggling networks have begun to make their presence felt in the area.
