An infant suffering from COVID-19 was transported to the University Hospital of Ioannina.
The 10-day-old baby was hospitalised at Filiates Hospital but his transfer to Ioannina was deemed necessary.
The whole family tested positive for the virus, according to ERT.
Specifically, the baby's mother has been hospitalised since Friday at Filiates Hospital with very low oxygen saturation.
The father and their other child are in home quarantine.
At the same time, in the ICU of the Aglaia Kyriakou hospital, a five-day-old baby is being treated for COVID-19, according to information from the Panhellenic Federation of Public Hospital Employees (POEDIN).
POEDIN claims that he may be the youngest patient admitted to the ICU with the virus.
According to the same information, 20 children are being treated in the three children's hospitals of Attica as well as in Ippokratio.
