Russian Prime Minister will attend March 25 Greek Independence Day celebrations

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will attend the military parade on March 25 in Syntagma Square to commemorate 200 years since the Greek War of Independence began.

Mishustin will arrive in Athens on March 24 and will meet with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to discuss bilateral relations.

Also attending the parade is French President Emmanuel Macron and heir to the British throne, Prince Charles.

Government spokeswoman Aristotle Peloni announced that the military parade will be televised due to COVID-19 measures.
