A pouch in the form of a 'Foustanella' has been created by Greek brand Callista Crafts to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the 1821 Greek Revolution.
It is a modern take on the national costume of Greece.
"Honouring traditional craftsmanship, each Pouch is cut from luxurious leather and is adorned with handcrafted customary Greek details from NE.M.A. Passementerie at the Benaki Museum," the website states.
The limited edition accessory is worth €380.
Unfortunately at the time of writing, it is sold out.
Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, President of the Greece 2021 Committee, was first spotted with the bag last week during her visit to Mani.
She mixed ‘modern clothes’ with pieces of traditional costumes, either from her personal collection or from the gifts she received from craftsmen, clubs and museums during her tour in Greece last year, and held the 'revolutionary bag'.
