Giannis Antetokounmpo's mother, Veronica, commemorated the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821, by sharing some old photos on her social media.
Specifically, she uploaded photos of the 'Greek Freak' wearing the national costume of Greece, the fustanella, and also as a flag bearer in the Independence Day parade.
The above photo depicts the very tall Giannis Antetokounmpo marching with young athletes in the centre of Athens on March 25 in 2013.
