Three Greek F-16 fighter jets flew over Skopje yesterday to celebrate North Macedonia joining NATO one year ago.

As North Macedonia does not have fighter jets, Greece is responsible for the policing of the country's airspace.

Greece is also responsible for making the neighbouring country's military up to NATO standard.
