Inhabitants of Hydra, Poros, Spetses and the other Saronic Islands have started being vaccinated in preparation or the tourism season which opens on May 14, Saronic Magazine reported.
The Municipality of Hydra began the vaccination process on March 30.
In Poros, the vaccination of the residents over the age of 60 is already progressing with great success.
Following Hydra and Poros, Spetses and Kythira also began vaccinating their residents.
There have been no official announcements from Aegina, Agistri and Salamina.
The vaccine being used for the islanders is Pfizer.
