President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, on Sunday toured the action "200 years of Greece-40 years of Europe", co-organized by the Municipality of Athens, pod.gr and the magazinegr. mag. These are 21 posters that have been posted on unique stands of the Municipality of Athens, on Vassilissis Olgas Street and are original works by artists, photographers, cartoonists, graphic designers and creative communication offices. The President of the Republic was accompanied by the Mayor of Athens, Costas Bakogiannis.
After the tour, Sakellaropoulou stressed that this is "a fascinating synthesis of views because it is a combination of 21 podcasts, where politicians, historians, writers, and 21 works of art speak."
She also spoke of "an interesting perspective, which shows us how our place is progressing and how the youngest artists with their works can join the city, on a pleasant walk in Vas. Olgas". She urged all the citizens of Athens to visit this action, provided that the measures allow it.
Afterwards, the President of the Republic toured the open-air exhibition "History has a face" hosted outside the National Garden. The exhibition presents 22 paintings with some of the 320 unique portraits of fighters of '21, created by Benjamin Mary, Belgium's diplomatic representative of Greece.
