Patient with COVID-19 commits suicide at Volos hospital

A 62-year-old COVID-19 patient in Volos Hospital ended his life.

His suicide caused a shock as his psychology and physical health were good.

The 62-year-old jumped from the 7th floor of Achillopoulio Hospital despite the fact that in a few days he was going to be discharged.

Ethnos reported that the man had a conversation with the doctors and nurses in a very pleasant atmosphere on the same day of his suicide.

He was informed by hospital staff that he would undergo a test in order to be discharged.

It is recalled that COVID-19 has a survival rate of well above 99%.
