Tourism Minister Harry Theocharis referred to the government's plan for the opening of tourism while speaking in Parliament yesterday.
"We will open on May 14 and we will open safely, despite the danger," he said.
He then took aim against the official opposition for encouraging protests despite COVID-19 restrictions.
"SYRIZA must stop making appeals, as it has done all this time, for marches and rallies that intensify the uncertainty about the health situation", Theocharis added.
As the minister added, "in order to be able to safely welcome tourists from abroad this year, we are implementing a plan that includes five lines of defense."
He went on to list them:
"Our country's plan for the opening of tourism is comprehensive," Theocharis said.
"It is an extremely detailed, balanced plan and allows safe tourism throughout the country," he continued.
