Dendias: Greece will support the reconstruction of Libya

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias during yesterday's visit to the Libyan capital of Tripoli with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said Greece will participate in the reconstruction of the war torn country.

In posts on social media, the Foreign Minister said "Greece, desires to open a new page in its relations with Libya, and as a longstanding EU friend and neighbour, to help in the reconstruction of the country and support its people."

"The reopening of the Greek Embassy in Tripoli and the reestablishment of the Consulate General in Benghazi will substantially contribute in enhancing bilateral cooperation between Greece and Libya," he added.
