Dionisis Rapsomanikis earns silver at European Taekwondo Championship

Dionisis Rapsomanikis earned silver at the 2021 European Taekwondo Championship which was held in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia.

Rapsomanikis, No. 9 in the world, overcame Spaniard Arigio 18-11 in the round of 16,  French Bedart 13-9 in the quarterfinals and Belarusian Kazlou 6-2 to progress to the  under-54 kilograms final.

Unfortunately he was defeated by Hungarian Salim 31-9.

Nevertheless, he won silver for myself and his home country, Greece.
