Stefanos Tsitsipas and Petros Tsitsipas saved two match points to stun No. 8 seeds Kevin Krawietz and Horia Tecau 7-6 (4) 3-6 11-9 in their Monte Carlo Masters doubles opener. The Tsitsipas brothers had a set point in the 12th game of the first set but didn't convert and the first set went into a tie-break, in which they overturned a 4-1 deficit to win a tight opener.
After losing a tight first set, Krawietz and Tecau started the second set with a 3-0 lead, before serving out for the set in the ninth game. In the match tie-break, the Tsitsipas brothers saved two consecutive match points before they realized their first match point to stun Krawietz and Tecau.
