Cypriot ministers who had not yet been vaccinated for COVID-19 received the AstraZeneca jab today., government spokesperson Kyriakos Kousios said.
"All members of the cabinet who have not already been vaccinated will be vaccinated tomorrow at 09:00 at the Engomi vaccination center with Astra Zeneca, thus giving a message of confidence for this vaccine," he said yesterday.
"The foreign minister, due to his absence abroad, will be vaccinated on Monday at 09:00", he added on his Twitter account.
Most countries around the world have recommended AstraZeneca use for the 55+ age group.
