Greek-Israeli agreement for International Flight Center in Kalamata was signed

An intergovernmental defence agreement between Greece and Israel to create an International Flight Training Center at the 120th Air Training Wing in Kalamata was signed yesterday, according to Proto Thema.

It was signed by Lieutenant General (rtd) Theodoros Lagios, after authorisation from Defence Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos, and the Director of International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), Yair Kulas.

A statement said that this agreement "substantially strengthens the strategic cooperation between Greece and Israel."
