PM Mitsotakis adopts a stray dog called peanut

Greece’s Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has adopted a stray Greek dog which he introduced to the world as peanut.

Greece’s financial crisis of the past decade brought with it many problems, including the abandonment of pets. Many people during these years left their dogs in the street because they could not afford to keep them or desex them.

He also tagged the shelter from which peanut was found.

IlI guess we will be seeing more of peanut around Maximos palace.
