Despite the tourist season in Greece not fully opening until May 14, quarantine restrictions for visitors from the European Union, the Schengen area, the UK, the U.S., the United Arab Emirates, Serbia and Israel has been lifted from Monday.
As long as tourists can provide a certificate confirming they have been vaccinated for COVID-19 or tested negative 72 hours before arriving, they will be permitted to enter, the Civil Aviation Authority (CA) said in a Notam.
For tourists wanting to enter Greece under the same conditions but are not from these aforementioned countries or blocs, they will be permitted to do so from May 14.
