Devlet Bahçeli, leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) that is in a ruling coalition with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s Justice and Development Party (AKP), made new provocations against Greece.
Speaking to his party's lawmakers about the impending constitutional changes in Turkey, he accused Dendias of "rudeness," leaving hints that his statements were aimed at provoking a crisis with Turkey.
MHP Genel Başkanı Devlet Bahçeli'den Yunanistan'a sert tepki: Bu küçücük ülke, Yunan askerlerinin Ege'ye nasıl döküldüğünü ve dünyayı başlarına nasıl geçireceğimizi hafızasından çıkarmıştır.

"I congratulate with all my heart our Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu who showed Dendias what his limits are," he said.
"It seems that Greece has not learned anything from history," Bahçeli continued when speaking to MPs of his party.
"I also want to express my gratitude to President Erdoğan, who led the Çavuşoğlu to speak the language his interlocutor understands in front of the media," he concluded.
