Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and Defence Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos had a meeting on Tuesday with the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf, in Riyadh.
The meeting focused on Greece's close ties and growing cooperation with the countries of the Gulf, as well as the recent developments in the wider region, the Greek foreign ministry posted on Twitter.
Later, Dendias and Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of consultations on matters of common interest, following their meeting in Riyadh.
Dendias also met with his Saudi counterpart Adel Al-Jubeir and discussed "excellent Greek-Saudi relations and growing ties of cooperation, as well as recent regional developments," according to the Foreign Ministry.
