Russell Crowe will play Greek god Zeus in 'Thor: Love and Thunder'

One of Hollywood's most instantly recognisable stars, Russell Crowe, has revealed that he is playing Greek god Zeus in the forthcoming 'Thor: Love & Thunder'.

He confirmed his role in the franchise during an interview last week with Aussie radio station Joy 94.9.

"I'm gonna get on my bicycle. I'm gonna ride up to Disney Fox studios, and round about 9:15, I shall be Zeus. It's for Thor. It's my last day of Zeus-ing about and I'm going to enjoy it."

In the Marvel comics, Zeus is the king of the Olympians, a group of characters inspired by Greek mythology.

'Thor: Love and Thunder' is set to be released in May 2022, starring Chris Hemsworth as the titular character alongside Tessa Thompson, Chris Pratt, Natalie Portman and Christian Bale.

The film is certainly going to be intriguing and exciting.
