According to the National Observatory of Athens weather service, high temperatures are expected across Greece during Holy Week.
In many parts of the country the highest temperature, as of Holy Friday (April 30) and afterwards will reach or even exceed 35°C.
In Athens, on Holy Friday (April 30) and on Holy Saturday (May 1) temperatures up to 32°C are expected to prevail.
While in Patras, they will range from 32°C-36°C and in Heraklion (Crete), up to 35°C-38°C.
