Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, visited commanders of the newly established Special Warfare Command in order to exchange Easter wishes and give instructions for constant readiness and vigilance.
Specifically, Floros visited the
- 2nd Army Aviation Complex and the Special Operations Aviation Unit at Megara Airport,
- the 31st Special Rescue Squadron at the Elefsina Air Base,
- the Special Operations and Submarine Command in Skaramaga, and
- the 13th Special Operations Administration in Goudi.
He congratulated the commanders and the staff of the newly established Special Warfare Command for the effort they have made so far.
He underlined their role as being of special importance as they increase management unity, speed in decision-making, promptness in issuing and executing orders, and optimal utilisation of human and available resources.
The General was accompanied by the commander of the faculty, Lieutenant General Georgios Tsitsikostas.
