Greeks all over the world celebrated Easter on Sunday, and those in Dubai were no exception.
According to MEGA, the coals were burning while Greeks skewered and roasted lambs and chickens in the so-called Switzerland of the Persian Gulf.
About 8,000 Greeks who live and work in Dubai, as well as many who traveled there from Greece to escape restrictive COVID-19 measures, had a very typical Greek Easter.
The Easter menu included traditional Greek dishes like magiritsa, kokoretsi, kefalotyri saganaki, village salad, lamb on a spit and homemade sweets.
The cost per person was 104 euros, without wine.
Restaurant in the Emirates remained open until 01:00AM and had music playing low and masks for whenever someone got up from the table.
