Agios Georgios Feast in Corinth

Agios Georgios (St. George) is one of the most celebrated saints in Greece.

In Corinth, the long-standing tradition of a horse parade took place, despite the novel coronavirus health crisis.

Being a military tribune, or chiliarch (that is, a commander of a thousand troops), Agios Georgios was illustrious in battle and highly honoured for his courage

The procession took place near the chapel of Saint George.
