Celine Dion's highly anticipated ‘Courage World Tour’ which was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic, has now been rescheduled to June 2023.

In a statement on Thursday, organisers said that due to the pandemic and restrictions on mass gatherings still in place, the concert is once again being rescheduled.

"I was really looking forward to seeing all of you in Europe this summer, but unfortunately because of the situation in our world things just keep getting pushed back," Dion said.

  • Greece's concert is set for June 9, 2023.
  • Cyprus concert is set for June 3, 2023.

"But please don’t despair, we feel really good about doing the shows in 2023 and I can’t wait to finally see you. 2023 here we come!" she added.

Dion is one of the most immediately recognised, widely respected and successful performers in pop music history.

She won numerous awards by the age of 18, dominated the pop charts in the 1990s and has sold almost 250 million albums during her over a 35-year career. She has earned five Grammy Awards, two Academy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 20 Juno Awards (Canada) and an astonishing 40 Félix Awards (Quebec).

Dion remains one of the most sought-after recording artists, receiving the Diamond award at the 2004 World Music Awards recognizing her status as the best-selling female artist of all time.

The announcement said that tickets purchased for the 2020 or 2021 dates will be honoured for the rescheduled 2023 dates.
