Largest Greek flag raised above Lake Plastira in Karditsa

The largest Greek flag, measuring 1,500 square meters, was raised above Lake Plastira, Karditsa, on Sunday.

The flag was raised by a balloon to highlight the grandeur of the heart and soul of the Greek and their love for the Homeland.

The event held under the auspices of the 'Greece 2021 Committee', took place to commemorate 200 years since Kostas Velis raised the revolutionary flag in Agrafa, on May 10, 1821.
