Greek Australian Eirini Alligiannis is a passionate and talented photographer and cinematographer.

Recently, she announced that her short documentary ‘Louie (KR ONE) Gasparro 5POINTZ‘ was selected to be shown in this year’s online Indy Film Fest.

The international award-winning documentary features Louie (KR.ONE) Gasparro, when his love for graffiti was rekindled at the legendary 5Pointz graffiti mecca in Long Island City, New York. Louie reminisces about what 5Pointz means to him and to the wider graffiti art world.

This project is close to Eirini’s heart, and has been winning awards all over the world.

The short documentary was selected to be shown in the ‘The Other side of History Shorts Block’ category, which aims to educate viewers about the past by using stories inspired by true heroic events and authentic documentaries.

What’s even more amazing is that Eirini’s short documentary ‘Louie Gasparro 5Pointz’ is in the same film festival as the Australian film ‘The Dry’ directed by Robert Connolly and produced and starred by Australian’s own Eric Bana.

From the GCT Team, congratulations Eirini!
