Government spokeswoman Aristotelia Peloni during a briefing revealed that there has been 4.3 million vaccinations in Greece so far.
Of these 4.3 million vaccinations, 1,550,000 people have been fully immunised.
She stressed the need for people to continue respecting restrictions in order to avoid outbreaks.
“At the same time, it is necessary to use the self-diagnostic tests and – above all – to get vaccinated,” she said.
Greece registered 1,262 new coronavirus infections on Sunday, with four of these identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organisation (EODY) reported on Sunday.
There are also 50 deaths recorded on Sunday, bringing pandemic victims to 11,415.
Of these, 95.2 per cent had an underlying condition and were 70 years old.
