Greece has recently become a popular location for the international film and television business.

Last month, it was announced that the follow-up to director Rian Johnson’s popular movie Knives Out (2019) will begin filming in Greece. The movie will see star actor Daniel Craig reprise his role as detective Benoit Blanc solving yet another crime murder mystery.

And most recently, a few days ago 'The Bachelorette' Germany began filming in Kefalonia.

As the name implies, the series revolves around a single bachelorette, and a pool of romantic interests which could include a potential husband for the lady.

After each rose ceremony, at least one contestant does not receive a rose and goes home; therefore, the pool of contenders gets smaller, and eventually leaves the bachelorette to decide between two contestants in the final rose ceremony.

According to Eleni Hioni from Kefaloniapress, shooting will take place in many areas of the island such as the famous Melissani Cave and the beautiful beach of Myrtos.

The contestants will also stay in two properties in the area of Ai Helis, one of which belongs to the former PASOK Minister Petros Efthymiou.

According to the locals, this production is another advertisement not only for Kefalonia, but also for Greece.
