As part of today's tour of Israel and Palestine, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met with Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III.
Dendias said in his meeting that he "underlined the protection of Holy Pilgrimages and the preservation of their status."
Later today he will meet with his Israeli counterpart Gabi Ashkenazi and his Palestinian counterpart Riad Al-Maliki.
The Foreign Minister will also travel to Jordan, where he will meet with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi.
He will also go to Cairo on Thursday where he will meet with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry.
