Greek waters west of Crete violated by Turkish fishing vessels

More emboldened then ever, Turkish fishing boats who traditionally violate Greek waters close to the shores of Asia Minor, are now even violating waters to the west of Crete.

Specifically, Greek waters off the small island of Gavdos to the west Crete were violated by the Turkish fishing boats on Wednesday.

With the Greek Navy on alert, the Coast Guard expelled the emboldened Turkish fishermen who have not appeared in this part of Greek territorial waters before.
