Måneskin of Italy have won the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands with 524 points.
This is Italy’s first win after returning to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011, following a 14-year absence. Måneskin and their entry “Zitti E Buoni” won over the jury and the public, to win the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Måneskin is a rock band from Rome, consisting of members Damiano David (lead vocals), Victoria De Angelis (bass), Thomas Raggi (guitar), and Ethan Torchio (drums). This year, Måneskin won the Sanremo Music Festival against 25 other participants, and therefore were given the chance to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
