Greece, Cyprus, Serbia, U.S. and Israel participate in ORION-21 military exercises

The Multinational Exercise “ORION-21” started in Greece on Monday with the participation of Special Forces Units from Greece, the USA, Israel, Cyprus and Serbia.

The Cypriot National Guard is represented by a Special Operations Team of the Naval Command and a Submarine Disaster Team of the Navy Command.

The participating countries are represented by their most select forces (Navy Seals and 10th Special Forces Group from the USA, Special Operations Division from Israel and Special Operations Brigade from Serbia).

During the exercise, complex and demanding operational activities will be carried out in most of Greece (island and mainland), with the participation of forces and means of all Branches of the Armed Forces.

The exercise, which will be completed on Friday, includes a wide range of conventional items (direct offensive, special surveillance -reconnaissance, search and rescue, etc.), as well as hybrid warfare items.
