American pop country singer-songwriter Jessie James Decker, along with her husband retired American NFL player Eric Decker have enjoyed a vacation in Greece with their three children.
The Italian born-Nashville singer had excitedly shared with her 3.6M Instagram followers some weeks ago that she and her family would be heading to Greece at the end of month, also noting her dream is to “eat dinner with a local Greek family and learn how to cook some traditional Greek food."
The popular country music sensation and reality TV star is also a New York Times bestseller with her first cookbook titled, Just Feed Me: Simply Delicious Recipes from My Heart to Your Plate. A passionate cook, Jessie shares her favourite recipes from her home, opening her kitchen cabinets and inviting fans to enjoy great meals that are served at the Decker dinner table.
Showcasing mouth-watering food that has nourished and delighted her family, leaving readers hungry for more of her home-cooking recipes. ‘Just Feed Me’ is true to Jessie’s down-to-earth persona with down-home and simple-to-make recipes, many Italian and Southern of which played an influence on her upbringing, food and now cooking. It’s no wonder the New York Times bestseller’s dream is to learn how to cook some traditional Greek dishes during her time in Greece.
Her interest in Greece and Greek food may have stemmed from her high school days during her senior year when she worked at a Greek restaurant as a belly dancer.
Although the songstress and cooking enthusiast did not add or tag any places to her social media platforms revealing the family’s exact location upon arrival, it was evident that their first stop was Mykonos, going by the appearance of the island’s mascot Petros in her Instagram stories with the Decker’s oldest child and only daughter Vivi (Vivianne Rose Decker) .
The mother-of-three was seen in jaw-dropping swimsuits and stylish clothing from her lifestyle brand Kittenish, taking photos with Cycladic picturesque backdrops promoting her brand’s sale.
In recent days it seems Jessie’s dream to learn how to cook Greek cuisine came true, as she shared footage of herself, husband and three children participating in cooking classes in Santorini. She captioned her photo on her Instagram stories “Loved learning how to make some delicious Greek food."
Perhaps in Jessie James Decker’s next cookbook she’ll include a Greek recipe or two!
