Tourism: Changes in Greek entry conditions from Monday

The conditions under which foreign tourists will enter Greece changes from June 7.

As announced by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias, the following are changing:

  • Testing for entry into the country changes to 6 years and over instead of 5 years.
  • Isolation of case or close contacts for 10 and not 14 days.
  • Entry is allowed with a 72-hour negative PCR or a vaccination certificate from Montenegro.
  • Outdoor tours are allowed for 20 people from 15 that were until today.

Meanwhile, Greek authorities announced on Friday that there were 1,112 new cases of COVID-19 and 34 casualties in the past 24 hours.

Six of the 1,112 cases involved travelers tested upon arrival in Greece.

Greeceā€™s total number of confirmed coronavirus cases is now 407,857, with 12,218 dead.

A total of 445 patients remain intubated in intensive care units while 2,491 have left ICU.

Earlier, Hardalias announced the release of a new interactive epidemiological map by each regional unit of Greece and by each municipality in the islands regarding the alarm level.
