Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia launches commemorative coins for 1821 Greek Revolution

On Friday, June 4, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia launched commemorative coins for the 1821 Greek Revolution, at the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Redfern, Sydney.

The Consul General of Greece in Sydney, Christos Karras, officially launched the commemorative coins.

1,821 silver coins and 1,821 bronze coins were minted.

Those interested are able to buy the collectible coins at all bookstores of the Archdiocese of Australia.
