Cyprus issues temporary Covid-19 vaccination certificate for travel

Cyprus has begun issuing temporary COVID-19 vaccination certificates to individuals planning on traveling abroad this month.

According to the Health Ministry, the vaccination certificate, which will be in Greek and English, can be requested by those wishing to travel overseas.

Those wishing to obtain a vaccination certificate for travel purposes must present their vaccination card and either an ID card or passport for identification purposes at one of the following locations: Nicosia Old Hospital (Nehru Avenue, Agios Andreas); Limassol Maternity Center, Limassol Old Hospital (188 Leontiou A); Larnaca Port Vaccination Center; Maternity Centre, Paphos General Hospital, Ahepans Avenue; Maternity Center, Famagusta Health Centre (25 Christou Kkeli, Paralimni).

The vaccination certificate is not required for travel to Greece.

The use of the temporary vaccination certificate will become invalid automatically on July 1, when the European Digital Covid-19 Certificate goes into effect in all member states.
