In her first career major quarter-final, Maria Sakkari earned a spot in the French Open Semi Final after upsetting defending champion Iga Świątek, and left her mark following her success by showing her love for Greece.

The rising Greek tennis star defeated the Number 8 in consecutive sets – 6-4, 6-4.
She will now face Barbora Krejčíková for a spot in the final.
