Erdogan to meet at NATO with Merkel, Johnson and Mitsotakis

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold bilateral talks with heads of state and government on the sidelines of the NATO Summit on June 14 in Brussels, including US President Joe Biden in his first meeting with Erdogan since he became president, as well as German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, said Turkish Prime Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in an interview on Turkish state broadcaster TRT.

Cavusoglu said an additional face-to-face meeting may take place between Erdogan and French President Emmanuel Macron.

The Turkish foreign minister recently traveled to Paris to try to mend bilateral relations following harsh attacks, including personal attacks, between the heads of state in recent months.
