The women's and men's rankings released on Monday determined which players are eligible to compete at the Tokyo Olympics, which begin next month. Each country can send as many as four women and four men in singles.

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari, who are also expected to compete in the mixed event - both have stated that they will be going to Tokyo for the Olympic Games.

Novak Djokovic remains at No. 1 in the ATP rankings after claiming his second French Open title -- and 19th at a major tournament -- by beating Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-7 (6), 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 in Sunday's final.

Tsitsipas went up one spot to No. 4, his best, swapping places with 2020 US Open champion Dominic Thiem.

Sakkari is enjoying a breakout year, racking up win after win. Maria Sakkari's current rank is 18.

The Greek is always proud to represent her country and asked recently whether she would play doubles at the event she confirmed it. This will not be the first instance they play doubles together as they already played at the Hopman Cup and they did fairly well.
