Greek Prime Minister and EU Commission President present “Greece 2.0”

Greece's Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to meet with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Athens today Thursday 17 June  to present the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability "Greece 2.0"

The Prime Minister will have a working breakfast with the President at 10.00 in the morning, at the Maximos Mansion followed by a trip to the Ancient Agora at 10.50am to make their statements and the presentation

At the Agora Prime Minister Mitsotakis and EU Commission President von der Leyen will present the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability "Greece 2.0"  and through live links connect with various parts of Greece, followed by a discussion with citizens.

During the presentation the following initiatives will be presented:

-The activities of the Underwater Interconnections by the Minister of Environment and Energy Costas Skrekas and the General Secretary of Energy and Raw Materials Alexandra Sdoukou.

-The activities of reforestation by the Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy George Amyras.

-The activities of the digital transformation of education by the Minister of Education and Religions Niki Kerameos.

-The activities of the digital transformation of the state by the Minister of Digital Governance Kyriakos Pierrakakis. -The activities of the Upgrading of human sources skills by the General Manager of OAED Spyros Protopsaltis.

-The activities of the upgrading of the tourism by the Minister of Tourism Haris Theocharis and the Deputy Minister of Tourism Sofia Zacharaki.

The event will be attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Theodoros Skylakakis and the management team of the "Greece 2.0" program.
