Serious criminal prosecution against Pakistanis for rape of pregnant woman in Athens (VIDEO)

The Athens Prosecutor's Office filed a criminal prosecution against the three Pakistanis arrested for raping a 25-year-old pregnant woman in Agios Panteleimon in the early hours of Wednesday.

The three Pakistanis face the following charges: Rape, aiding and abetting rape, and kidnapping, Proto Thema reported.

A fourth person wanted by the police was also prosecuted for rape.

The accused are expected to be taken to an investigator.

The gang rape of a 25-year-old pregnant woman in Agios Panteleimon in the early hours of Wednesday shocked the public.

The woman, who is in the third month of her pregnancy and allegedly has mental issues, reported to the police that she was raped by four foreigners.

According to what she said to the police, the 25-year-old went to Omonia in Central Athens on Tuesday night in order to fix her mobile phone.

She was approached by a young man of Afghan descent, who led her to a dark spot and then raped her.

Shocked, the 25-year-old asked for help from three Pakistanis, who persuaded her to follow them to help her.

She was taken by taxi to an underground apartment in Agios Panteleimon, where she was gang-raped.

Neighbours in the adjoining apartments heard the girl's voices and screams.

The perpetrators, fearing that they would be noticed by the neighbours and the police, let her leave their apartment.

Shocked, the unfortunate girl with a baby in her womb, went to the police where she pointed to the apartment where she experienced the nightmarish moments.

In the apartment, genetic material of the 25-year-old, her underwear and pieces of her clothes were found.
