Zacharaki visited the marina of Limassol, the ship Jewel Of The Seas, as well as the village of Lania.

"We have started a substantial cooperation for months, which is sealed with the presence here but also with the intensification of the cruise promotion, one of the many points that we have to promote together," Zacharaki said.

She adding that specific actions between Cyprus and Greece were launched during the recent visit of the Deputy Minister of Tourism of Cyprus to the conference held in Athens recently by the World Tourism Organisation.

"Now, there will be the first observatory for the Eastern Mediterranean, for sustainable tourism and maritime tourism in collaboration with the University of the Aegean and of course Cyprus together with Greece have to benefit a lot from this observatory," Zacharaki said.

"At the same time, because I know the personal interest of Cyprus' Deputy Minister of Tourism for the authentic experiences, as he says, which is the new trend in hospitality, I probably prefer the word hospitality to the word tourism," she noted.
