Greece and India conduct joint naval training in the Mediterranean

On Wednesday, the Indian Navy Frigate INS Tabar conducted a joint PASSEX (Passing Exercise) with the Themistoklis Frigate in the sea area southwest of Crete.

During PASSEX, communication, advanced maneuvers and coordination with a helicopter were performed.

This joint training was carried out in the framework of the international collaborations of the Greek Armed Forces in accordance with the planning of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff.

The naval training contributed to operational readiness, combat capability and cooperation between Greece and India in a bilateral context.
