Police have finally found and arrested the arsonist who had set the recent fires on the island of Kefalonia according to news reports yesterday.
The 34 year old male suspect confessed to setting the recent fires in the municipality of Livathos, Kefalonia, in the areas of Simotata, Vlachata and Fagia, which burned more than 6,000 acres.
The man also admitted to setting other fires in the past, something which authorities will proceed to investigate.
