COVID-19: 2,107 new cases in Greece on Thursday, 10 deaths

Greek health authorities announced 2,107 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, of which 5 were identified at the Greek borders.

The total number of COVID-19 cases amounts to 433,021 (daily change + 0.5%), of which 51.2% are men.

Based on the confirmed cases of the last seven days, 146 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 1,769 are related to an already known case.

There were 10 new deaths attributed to COVID-19.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 12,773 deaths have been recorded.

95.2% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 153 (68.0% men).

Their median age is 66 years.

88.2% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,720 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

There were 68 new admissions to hospitals (daily change + 15.25%).

The average seven-day admission is 49 patients.

The median age of cases is 43 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
