COVID-19: 2,327 new cases in Greece on Saturday, two deaths

Greek health authorities announced 2,327 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, of which six were identified after checks at Greece's borders.

The total number of cases is 437,345 (daily change + 0.5%), of which 51.2% are men.

Based on the confirmed cases of the last seven days, 153 are considered related to travel from abroad and 1,986 are related to an already known case.

There were two new deaths attributed to COVID-19.

Since the start of the pandemic there has been a total of 12 787 deaths.

95.2% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 142 (67.6% men).

Their median age is 66 years.

86.6% have underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,735 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

There were 68 new admissions to hospitals (daily change + 15.25%).

The average seven-day admission is 56 patients.

The median age of cases is 42 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
