Church of Agios Paisios opens in Trikala with celebration

The inauguration of the Church of Agios Paisios in Trikala took place on Sunday night with fireworks in a festive atmosphere.

According to Trikala Voice, the ceremony took place with the participation of two High Bishop, Trikki and Stagi Chrysostomos and Athenagoras of Patara.

With the consecration of the Altar, there were fireworks in the courtyard of the Church to celebrate its opening.

Today is the Feast Day of Agios Paisios of Mount Athos, who was born on July 25, 1924 and died July 12, 1994.

The Church of Agios Paisios was named in his honour.

His words were recorded by thousands who journeyed to seek his advice and prophecies. Agios Paisios had warned of the great cataclysms, which was said to await future generations and spoke of Greece’s crisis, as well as the European Union, Islam and WWIII.
