British tourists with COVID-19 broke out of a quarantine hotel in Zakynthos

Four tourists fled from the quarantine hotel in Zakynthos to take a return flight to Britain.

The four female tourists had mild symptoms and when they did a rapid test, they tested positive for COVID-19.

As according to protocols, they were transferred to Keri in a quarantine hotel.

However, the women, according to Ermis News, wanted to take the return flight to England which was departing at dawn and escaped from the hotel.

As soon as their absence was noticed, the hotel managers notified Greek health authorities.

The police were waiting at the airport.

When the British tourists arrived, they took them to a special room in the airport and then returned them by ambulance to the quarantine hotel.
