COVID-19: 1,834 new cases in Greece on Monday, 8 dead

Greek health authorities reported 1,834 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, of which 14 were identified at the borers.

The total number of cases is 459,146 (daily change + 0.4%), of which 51.2% are men.

Based on confirmed cases over the last seven days, 141 are considered related to travel from abroad and 1,360 are related to an already known case.

There were eight new deaths attributed to COVID-19.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 12,858 deaths have been recorded.

95.1% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 123 (61.0% men).

Their median age is 66 years.

89.4% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,760 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

There were 141 new COVID-19 patients admitted into hospitals (daily change + 6.82%).

The average seven-day admission is 117 patients.

The median age of cases is 42 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
